Comfortable and versatile, our silk Fairy Skirts have been a staple in dress-up boxes for over 25 years. Little ones can wear them as skirts, over a t-shirt as a dress-up top, or as a frilly headdress.  Rainbow Fairy Skirts are 23-inches long with an elastic waist that stretches comfortably from 22 to 35-inches, sewn with two layers of 100% pure mulberry silk, and hand-painted with earth-friendly dyes in our rainbow colorway. Fits most children ages 3 – 9 years old. Double layered, hand-painted silk is sewn so the hemline hangs in graceful points, perfect for twirling. A stretchy waist ensures a snug and comfortable fit. Dress-up play is the work of the child, and children benefit cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally through this work. Open-ended play with our silk Fairy Skirts allows children to express their imagination and support their independence. Children will love to dress up as fairies, princesses and more!
